As a first-generation West County native and alumnus of Contra Costa and Diablo Valley Community Colleges, I have spent a lifetime supporting students and advocating for equal access to an affordable, quality education.

I am the only candidate in this race who is a union member, statewide legislative advocate on issues directly facing community college students and their families, and a current West County elected official.
